First of july; a month since pos.
Yesterday was good. Went to Chevy's house with Bryant to visit him after school. Then he had tuition so we went to find Hendy. Ate at Harbourfront and then left about four thirty to go home, bathe, change.
Went to meet Hendy, Bryant, Nicky and Isa at kap later on. then Bryant, Nicky, Louisa and I cabbed down to SJI for their "A gathering of Kindred Spirits" thing. Was a little late. Went str8 to their performing arts centre and sat in the balcony. Saw Jane darling with Jun Le and Eddie! Haha.
The concert was quite good for a school production. Haha. Yeah. Their school has quite a lot of talents. And the emcee was hot! Quite, lah. From the little I saw of him. Matthias, I think his name was.
Towards the end, they sang "Passing on the Passion". I think it's pretty much of an anthem, the boys were all singing it heartily with arms around each other.
Awww so sweet, their school's super united I think. And they did like two or three school cheers and all.
After that, we went to take a bus to town with a couple of Nicky's friends. Louisa, Bryant and I were all dancing at the stop. We took our heels off and danced, LOL. : D 'Twas fun. And then we bus-ed to town and met Chevy there. Went to the twenty four hour Macs at Lucky to eat. Wasn't hungry): Hmmm. Yeah.. Left around twelve thirty. Nicky went with me to somewhere near Wheelock to catch a cab. And then he cabbed home too. The cab driver thought I wasn't local cause of my english slang when speaking chinese.
So annoying, I'm so chinese, LAH! And I want to speak chinese properly! ))))): Yeah so we passed a pub and there were people all over the sidewalk watching the Germany vs Argentina match. I heard Germany beat Argentina and Italy thrashed Ukraine. Well. The crowd spilled onto the road and the cab driver was muttering about inconsiderate soccer fans. Haha(: And um yeah my cab fare was like $4 with midnight surcharge OMG I just l-o-v-e my house location!
Went for SYF opening ceremony today with Jane and her, um, friend, Sean and his friend! It was okay, though I felt acutely underdressed. (FBTs and a shirt, as usual.) Went for cg before that you see. Um. Yeah. TKSS won the Best Display Band Award. They were super good, their formations were neatly formed and easy to make out. They did a bat for Batman, then superman's crest, then Darth Vader's mask. And they did it while playing the movies' theme songs. Haha super funny. But they were very good. They marched off to tumultous applause.
They cried when their band was announced the winner. It was quite comical as they couldn't move, so they were just standing there with pained expressions on their faces and tears streaming down their faces. And they screamed and screamed on the spot. They looked quite constipated, actually. But seriously their band is good. And big, too! It looked like at least one third of their school population is in band. Haha.(:
