oh, my goodness. *frantically fans self* i still can't believe we did it! south did it! we were so awesome onstage, if i do say so myself.(:
the last few days of practice, as quoted from anna beth, were an emotional roller coaster. things happened, things cropped up. people broke down, people had conflicts. there were times when i was flying halfway and i just burst into tears. like okay, my bases turned me left instead of to the right, and i didn't know about it, and i fell and came down and i gave them all an emotional earful. and then i cried.
but the amazing thing is that we really
made things happen. so many people were doubtful about the day, saying that we were gnna screw things up like our preview. but we
did it. we blew them all away. we put aside all our differences, all our disputes, and came tgt as a cluster, united, to do our thing.
just think. yesterday, we were on the stage at expo. and our music and everything was playing; we didn't do it all in time. and today, we have a few practices, we do everything magnificently. the dancers danced with so much energy, with smiles and everything, looking sharp; our bases were alert and did a great job, our flyers- check this out- did all our stunts
without front supports! i mean, okay, for me personally, i couldn't turn in a liberty position without a front support. wait, i couldn't do a lib without front support. i couldn't do it from half extension anw. and now i can do lib and turn and arabesque without front support! i just managed the arabesque without front support today. and vanessa didn't practice that much, but her pop twist was sooooo great. just what happened today: we came for pract at nine. i arrived at nine thirty- woke up late. came straight down. a little after that, went to changi to get silver nail polish with anna beth and vanessa, but they didnt carry it. so we had bk's breakfast instead. ohh i felt like sooo guilty after that.): then we practiced. and then we had some exchanging of words, a few tears- but then we prayed tgt as a cluster. and we had about fifteen minutes' of a prayer meeting led by hensa today. the flyers prayed together. the stunts people prayed together. i have this feeling we've done more praying within the cluster today than we've done in the days leading up to the performance. yeah. and deborah and anna beth and i were jumping around being nervous. lol. and it all turned out so awesome. i am sooo convinced now at the power of what prayer can do. it was more than perfect. impeccable timing, great energy, perfect balance (for the flyers) we looked good, awesome screaming, looked sharp, AND WHO WAS THE CLUSTER PASTOR KONG STOOD UP FOR??????????????
