today i went shopping w mel! okay not really shopping. but we did pretend we were tourists in little india. HAHA(:
this morning, i was supposed to go to school. but i told mom i was too tired to. went back to bed and slept until, like, eleven. then mel called. went to harbourfront to meet her for lunch. haha i walked like right past her w/o seeing her. we went for beef noodles! i feel like a pig today. LOL. and then we decided to go to little india! haha.
so, like, we took a train there. straight line. and then we walked around for a bit pretending we were tourists. we went to do henna! the person wasn't very skilled and mine wasn't very nice. i did the back of my left hand; mel did the back of her left hand and her left ankle. and then we walked around looking at bangles. little india has
the most pretty coloured bracelets, like, ever. and after that we went to tiong. but venezia was closed.))))))))): see, we share the same passion for that particular ice cream. yoggi! the yoghurt ice cream.
so we went to great world. went to pets kampong! looked at the bunnies and hamster. they were so
cute. (is adorable the word?) and we decided to get things for our terrapins, samson and delilah. we got a cage, a bag of gravel, a kind of fountain-like structure for them to climb on, and a pump. it added up to $50.26!!! haha. we came back to my place to set up everything.
we washed the gravel in a pail. took awhile because the gravel produced, like, gray water when it was washed. so we rinsed the gravel several times. and we set up the pump. had a little trouble deciding where to put the tank as the terrapins needed sunlight (as quoted from the brother, they are "solar powered".) and they need a power source, for the fountain thing. so we put them next to the wall. think we're getting a filter and a light next. and then mel had to leave so i sent her to the bus stop.
