yesterday was an out-of-this-world day with my girlfriends. : D
and i'm proud to announce that EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER! (: for the most part. the next major ones i have to, ahem, look forward to, are the FYEs. which won't be at least for another four months.
oh and everyone reading this be my witness: i am officially going to study. that's right, you don't have to check if you're on the right blog. i, ko huimin sarah, hereby declare that i am going to study for my major exams to prepare myself for the 'O' level i'm taking next year. and may someone slap me please because i think i'm going insane.
so, to digress, yesterday was an absolutely fantastic day, not counting the exams part. after the exams, mel, yuqi, charmaine, jane and i headed for harbourfront. i always seem to be going there. heh. and we were all fretting about what we were going to wear for last night's play. more on that later. and we were taking 166 and i was sitting on yuqi's knees all the way to harbourfront. and we had some at macs, incredible!!! they have their twister fries back! yum. anyway. so then after that we shopped for a bit, and then jane and charmaine went to jane's house and yuqi left and mel and i went home for a bit.
showered, changed, then met mel at harbourfront. she wanted to get this really cute clutch from montip. and we got it, and went to play pool with mitchell. and then we went back to mel's house for her to change and doll. and we did our nails. maroon polish that matched her top, and i put some on, too. but i was wearing black and looked like i was going to a funeral except the silver heels. was having kind of a bad hair day, though.
we cabbed down to raffles hotel, and found the jubilee hall. and jane and charmaine at the same time. joined the literature students in front of the hall. then, mel jane charmaine and i went to the loo down the hall for touch ups. and then we went back to the hall, and we were just in time for the opening. so we got our tix and went in. and then sat in the middle. it's hard to describe the taming of the shrew, but it was awesome, that i can assure you. the actors and actresses left the stage to tumultous applause. three times. (: great, huh. anyway, after that, the three and i left for supper at a twenty-four hour macs just opposite. and then we went home. jane took the same bus as me. reached home, dead tired. took a shower, went to bed and slept until twelve this afternoon.
can't believe exams are finally over and i'm starting to feel the exhaustion that must've been building up. sigh. i'm just so.. so..*yawn* tired. think i'll go take another nap.
