yeah.. strikeforce rocked the chingay '05 inside out.
i'll start from the beginning. okay, on last sunday, me and some other strikeforce peeps from orchard stomp! were called down to help with the chingay things. we helped with the shakers, which by the way were for audience participation. the thing is that, there were so many. bottles to be filled. in a week. how was that possible?
oh, but it was. the thousand over bottles were filled by thursday.
monday, tuesday, wednesday. we all reached home about twelve. and, oh, how tired we were. but we still managed to rock orchard. Praise the Lord!
anyway, onto performance day.
we were excited and hyped up.
i reached p.a. at one with elson, having been called down for urgent pract by sis irenaus. slacked for awhile at the front of the audit, then called eugene.. he said they were at M.A.D. studio.. so me, elson and wei qian went over. then, we did bottles. the spray painted bottles. no, not beans. we had to screw bookmarks into the mouths of the bottles.
(btw. bro tan boon told me on preview day.
bro tan boon: sarah...you know what you have to do?
me: yeah!
bro tan boon: as in, you have to give the president the shakers. and his wife, too.
i choked.)
me elson and wei qian started on another batch of bottles. the pink ones. the paint rubbed off everywhere. on my jeans, shirt.. it was all over me. after a long while, about four plus, we'd finished, and went over to them...then we practised. bro tan boon wanted me to practise what to say and everything. so practised for a while. then put bag and put make up ..
and then we boarded the bus over to orchard! got down at near scotts. then walked over.

then our performance was like so awesome. it was a blur of noise, music and colour. and we so totally rocked and enjoyed ourself. then after that, we had water parade. and water parade MEANS water parade. we uncapped bottles of water and sprayed them all around...within strikeforce. we had really a lot fun.. cheered a lot.. talked a lot.. congratulated a lot of people..
yup..
and after that..
went home.
